"Rodrigo here actually saved my life, no exaggeration, because for a surprisingly modest, very affordable fee, he quickly resolved long-standing problems I'd experienced in the years following Brexit with my residency as a Brit living in Santander, and saved me from being deported from my life here with my daughter. I have gratefully and responsibly enjoyed living in Spain for 10 years, and demanded nothing from the Spanish state, but because of technicalities over my work status, my right to live here actually came under serious threat over a long period of time, despite my repeated and tireless efforts to comply properly with the administration myself. Because I have my daughter here, this was the most terrifying and gruelling experience of my entire life. Eventually I went to Rodrigo and soon wished I had done so much sooner. With his intricate expertise of all the relevant laws and, more importantly, processes, he sorted the whole thing for me off the back of one simple consultation, one small fee, and I waited one very small number of weeks to then have my Spanish residency permit and proper plastic NIE card back in my wallet. Rodrigo even personally accompanied me on my visit to the Oficina de Extranjeria to help me finalise the process, which also turned out to be enormously valuable. I could probably have managed this last part on my own, because I speak fluently, as everyone should make the effort to do wherever they go and live. But at the foreigners' office, if you go by yourself, which I did literally dozens of times, the majority of staff, or at least half, are unfortunately in the deliberate and resentful business of trying to catch you out, and finding new reasons why your application is either rejected or demands additional documentation, though not previously specified, which can only be presented at a further appointment which you have to book online through a dysfunctional interface which systematically prohibits bookings sooner than one month in advance - during all of which time your heartache and stress carries on, again. My final visit to the foreigners' office, with Rodrigo at my back or rather in the lead, was a relief, and also not the usual waste of mine and the government's time that visits to that office had previously tended and proved to be. Rodrigo also subsequently helped me with a house purchase and has advised on other matters, but where my long-running residency crisis was concerned, no other service in my whole life has proved so valuable."
