Rachel, the legal assistant handling our file, was truly outstanding throughout the entire process. She worked incredibly hard to coordinate the simultaneous sale and purchase, dealt persistently with the bank despite repeated obstacles, and invested a huge amount of time ensuring everything could proceed. Her communication was excellent — always prompt, clear, and reassuring — even outside normal working hours when necessary. She explained each step, answered our many questions with patience, and kept things moving forward under significant pressure. Rachel also helped with multiple additional tasks including utility transfers, mortgage closure, bank account closure, and coordination with the buyer’s legal team to protect our agreed moving date. Her professionalism and dedication genuinely reduced our stress during what could have been a very difficult process. Our direct contact with the assigned lawyer was very limited, so we are not really in a position to comment on his role specifically.
