"Overall the facilities are super nice, however there are some things that are not ok. The prices vary from member to member there is high lack of transparency, so negóciate and ask for discounts when enrolling. The renovation is very nice, but is taking for ever, some areas of the place are work sites. Last but not least the parking has a cost, you pay almost 200€ per month to be a platinum member and on top they change the parking (is not about the money is about charging) #notcool"

"I had a very disappointing experience at the spa area of David Lloyd La Finca. The employee in charge of the spa was extremely hostile towards me throughout my visit, for absolutely no reason. They made remarks and comments that made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy the peace that you expect from a spa environment, I felt constantly observed. This was particularly upsetting as access to the spa is not included with the guest pass and had to be paid for separately. Unfortunately, this completely ruined the experience for me."

"Manuel gave us an amazing tour of the club and facilities and was incredibly welcoming to our family. He enrolled us for a new family membership. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience and felt more welcome than with Manuel!"

"As Diamond members at David Lloyd La Finca, my wife and I joined because we trusted their "secure, premium" reputation. That trust lasted exactly one week. We pay a monthly fee of €420, for context. What happened: My wife left her new headphones (in their case) on a machine. Staff SAW them the next day – even described the exact model and colour perfectly. Then the runaround began: “Not in lost property,” “My colleague can’t find them,” and finally... radio silence. When we spoke to the Club Manager? Shrugged off with “These things happen.” No apology. No effort. My wife refuses to go back – she doesn’t feel safe there. I emailed to cancel on May 2nd (for June 1st), just ONE day late because I was USA David Lloyd’s response? ZERO action on our headphones and FULL charge for June membership despite us not setting foot there since may. They’re soft on theft (staff OR members) but brutal about a 24-hour admin delay. Our property vanishes in their "secure" club?Oops. We pay a day late? "Pay up or we’ll send debt collectors." We paid June under protest – we honour our word. But here’s our warning: "Lost " items = gone forever here. Staff either don’t care or can’t be trusted. Your money matters more than you to David Lloyd La Finca. We hoped to switch to DL Aravaca but now doubt the whole brand. Save your money."

"Manuel was fantastic at introducing us to David Lloyd and showing us around. He really took the time and was very friendly. Looking forward to spending time in this very relaxing environment!"

"Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, this gym has managed to do it. Now they have fired all of the good teachers with experience, the only few who were still holding on to this cookie cutter gym since it was the Reebok. Shame on you David Lloyd!! Now we are reduced to family oriented classes to appeal to the new members. Not to mention the inconveniences of never being able to park in the parking lot and fighting for a locker space. En fin, until a new proper gym opens, this is what we have to deal with…."

"I have been a member of this club from before it changed hands from Reeboox to David Lloyd. Let´s start with the facilities. They are excellent. They house the best clay courts in Spain. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, and the gym is top notch, which is why I´m so buff. The members don´t seem to take weights too seriously as they tend to sit on the machines texting and don´t care that much about putting the weights back. I take tennis lessons and their pros are tier one. My tennis coach is Borja, but they are all excellent. The employees are attentive and a pleasure to deal with. I use their cafe as my office and eat here all week. Jairo and Karla are outstanding. Karla has recently moved to the spa, but she is she such a team player that sometimes she comes back to help the cafeteria staff. They do what it takes to make our meals taste like ¨abuelita¨ prepared them. Johanna, the chef, is amazing, and not only should she get a Michelin star, she also taught me how to improve my paella making skills. The food portions belong on a child´s menu. Since David Lloyd took over, the portions have gotten smaller. I guess they are helping us to watch our figures. Additionally, when you have a special request, it seems like it goes in a hidden hole. There is little or no follow up. In general, it is an excellent club and I highly recommend it. Lastly, if you become a member, part within your parking spot as the club is short of parking so double parking is annoying. -Miguel Cárdenas"
